PELICAN, KOEHLER-BRIGHT STAR AND HUBBELL REACH AGREEMENT IN TRADEMARK/PATENT INFRINGEMENT CASE

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA – Pelican Products, Inc., the Torrance, California maker of high quality flashlights and protective equipment cases, has reached a settlement in its trade dress and patent infringement suit against Koehler-Bright Star and Hubbell Lighting. The parties in the litigation between Pelican and Hubbell Lighting and Koehler-Bright Star, have arrived at an amicable business resolution that recognizes and acknowledges the respective rights of the parties and have settled the litigation to their mutual satisfaction. A significant, but confidential, amount was paid to Pelican in recognition of its rights.

Pelican Products, Inc. is a privately held industry leader, specializing in the manufacture of ultra high quality, hand held lighting products and watertight protective cases, known throughout the world as Pelican Lights and Cases.
